1 Who We Are

8 Data Retention
piabet retains personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our licensing and legal obligations, and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. The following retention principles apply:
- Account data: Retained for the duration of your active piabet account plus a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with anti-money laundering regulatory requirements.
- Transaction and financial records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of each transaction, as required by applicable financial regulations.
- KYC documentation: Retained for the period required by our licensing authority from the date of last account activity, typically no less than five (5) years.
- Support correspondence: Retained for three (3) years from the date of last interaction, unless a legal hold requires longer retention.
- Marketing consent records: Retained until you withdraw consent, at which point marketing data is promptly removed from active use.
When personal data is no longer required for its stated purpose and its retention period has expired, piabet securely deletes or anonymises the data in accordance with our internal data lifecycle management procedures.
9 Data Security
piabet implements technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include:
- TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your device and the piabet platform;

10 Your Data Rights

Where technically feasible, you may request that piabet provide a copy of the personal data you supplied to us in a structured, machine-readable format for transfer to another service.
You may object to the processing of your personal data where piabet relies on legitimate interests as its legal basis, or to processing for direct marketing purposes. Objections to marketing will always be honoured promptly.
Where piabet processes your data on the basis of consent (e.g., marketing communications), you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
piabet will respond to all valid data rights requests within thirty (30) calendar days. In complex cases, this period may be extended by a further two months with notification. We may need to verify your identity before processing any request to protect against unauthorised access to personal data.
11 Children's Privacy and Underage Access
piabet's Services are strictly intended for individuals aged 21 years and above. piabet does not knowingly collect, store or process personal data from individuals under the age of 21. If piabet identifies or is notified that an account has been created by an underage individual, the account will be immediately suspended, all personal data deleted or anonymised (subject to any mandatory legal retention requirements), and any deposited funds returned to the original payment source.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has accessed the piabet platform, please contact our support team immediately so appropriate action can be taken without delay.
21+ Requirement: The minimum age to hold a piabet account and use any of its Services is 21 years. Age verification is conducted as part of the KYC process and piabet actively monitors for indicators of underage access.
12 Responsible Gaming and Data Use
piabet uses gaming activity data – including session frequency, deposit patterns and betting volumes – to identify players who may be exhibiting signs of problem gambling behaviour.
